| | Y'know, I noticed something when I opened up IE today. I saw another one of those "Weight Loss Success Stories" This makes me curious... If weight loss is such a commonly shared desire, how come it is that people need to hear these stories where someone lost their weight? It seems to me that, possibly, they are there because diet pills are the worst possible method I know of to lose weight. Go ahead. Anyone. Look in the fine text at the bottom of the T.V. when another diet pill commercial comes on. Don't worry, they come on all the freakin' time. Anyways, in that fine text, you will see that the pill isn't some miracle cure for weight loss as it is made out to be. The AVERAGE weight loss is less than 8 pounds every week/month, I forget. Your spending all that money on pills that will take forever to make a significant effect. Yet you all keep buying. Is it really coming to the point where people can't squeeze in a little jog between things they have to do? Doing a form of physical workout during free time is just too much to ask? I jog two times a day, each time a mile round trip. Yes, I am a teenager, but I do have a job, and it is a job I work rather often. Pills and surgery make you sick and leave you worse off than you started. Exercise more. |
